Hospice Companionship and Sitter Care
The focus of this service is to provide your loved ones with companionship and comfort during these last difficult days. Senior Care n More hospice companions and sitters provide your loved one with continuity of care and companionship; and the family with time to attend to routine daily living and other emergent issues.
It is very important for family members to take time off from hospice care to regain emotional and spiritual strength. Senior Care n More helps make this possible.
Patient Escort to Medical Appointments (Patient’s Vehicle)
Senior Care n More companions will drive your loved one to and from medical appointments for treatments such as radiation therapy, physical therapy, dialysis, chemotherapy and other scheduled appointments. Senior Care n More companions will drive the patient to the appointment, stay with the patient during the treatment, pick up any additional medications prescribed and report any instructions given by medical personnel.
Hospital Patient Companionship
Medical emergencies come when you least expect them. Often patients are required to wait for hours before being admitted to a hospital, and sometimes they are released to go home without ever being admitted at all. Worse, seniors can get confused and disoriented in the middle of the fast pace activities typical of today's modern emergency rooms. Senior Care n More companions and sitters can keep seniors or your loved one comfortable and engaged during the admission and waiting process. If not admitted, the Senior Care n More companion will drive you or your loved one back home or stay with the patient until a family member or friend arrives to escort the patient back home.
